Vicious Villains: Evil Queen

Hey guys,

Ok, Snow White is hands down one of my all-time favorite Disney movies. I love the aesthetic of the movie so much. So for this last look of this series, let’s do the Evil Queen. She’s rocking some purple eyeshadow in the lids but there’s also a hue of grey. Her cheeks and lips are deep pink. This is obviously a look inspired by a different makeup era.

November Lookbook 2017

Hey guys,

Here's some of my November outfits. I wore a lot of skirts and dresses, tights and boots. So if you like things like that, please watch this little video and leave me a nice comment. :) What have you been up to during November? It's been a real busy month here...

Makeup To-Go: Armani Holiday Collection 2017

Hey guys,

Today’s look is inspired by the Armani Holiday Collection of 2017. This look has a very unique style to it. The eyes are quite messy and the color combination of gold and purple is definitely special. The dark red lips are quite sharp in contrast. I think the look works perfectly on the model, so I wanted to try it out for you.

Vicious Villains: Queen of Hearts

Hey guys,

Ok, this might not be the most wearable look ever but I have never really tried giving my eyes different eyeshadow colors. So I wanted to try this with the look of Queen of Hearts because it matches her outfit. Her face isn’t really anything crazy, she rather looks like a big child. She also behaves like a big child. So yeah, what do you think?

Read & Watched November 2017

Hey guys,

November was such a busy month for me, but I still managed to read some. Unfortunately I only have one movie to talk about for now. We're just not really in the mood for cinema right now. But I'll try to get better at it again. But if you're here for the books, feel free to watch the video or check out the German reviews on my other blog down below.

Makeup To-Go: YSL Night 54 Holiday Look

Hey guys,

Today we’re doing a Holiday inspired look that is very glamorous and eye-catching. This is great for a fancy Christmas party or maybe New Years Eve. I loved the idea of the glitter liner above the crease. It’s such a fun detail and will stand out. The color combination of the purple and the silver glitter is great and very festive as well. You can wear a nude lip with it or make the wing a bit smaller to achieve a wearable look. Here’s the original picture.

Vicious Villains: Scar

Hey guys,

Ok we can’t talk about Disney villains and not mention Scar. He is responsible for one of the most shocking children’s movie death of all time. I don’t actually remember how I felt about it as a child, but The Lion King was the movie of my childhood generation. So here we go. I wanted to stick to the fur colors Scar has around his eyes, so shades of burgundy and a more golden brown, also a bit of black. Then I obviously had to do the black lips. What do you think?

Visiting Ebergötzen - Max & Moritz - Wilhelm Busch

Hey guys,

In the beginning of October we had a holiday and my boyfriend came visiting. We went to a small town called Ebergötzen which has the European bread museum and a small museum about Max & Moritz and Wilhelm Busch. These children's stories were very important to my childhood, so this was very special. Wilhelm Busch lived in this town when he was a kid and some say that those stories are inspired by his childhood and a very unique friendship he had with the later mayor of Ebergötzen. Nonetheless, I wanted to show you some impressions. :)

Makeup To-Go: Lana del Rey at the EMAs 2017

Hey guys,

You may know that Lana del Rey is my favorite current musician. I love her music a lot and listen to it non-stop. So when I saw her look from the EMAs 2017 I really wanted to recreate it. She had quite a strong liner with kind of 50s/60s makeup. Her nude lips were quite defined and looked super plump. Hope you like this.

Vicious Villains: Governor Ratcliffe

Hey guys,

Ok, today it’s going to get a bit funky. For this look I had to get all my electric eyeshadow and eyeliner colors. Governor Ratcliffe is absolutely fabulous and even has a bit of a gay touch, I think. I remember that he very much entertained me as a child. So let’s do this crazy colorful look!

Used up! Candle Edition - November 2017

Hey guys,

I've probably already told you about my tiny obsession with candles. Since I can't do any more hauls for at least another month, I'll show you some of the candles and home scents I've used up lately. Most of it is Yankee Candle because it's quite easy to get in Germany, but there's also 1 Bath and Body Works candle and one from the Lidl brand.

Makeup To-Go: Clarins Graphik Look 2017

Hey guys,

So for some reason I haven’t really done any seasonal trend looks so far. So let’s do this fun and sexy look inspired by the Clarins Graphik collection. The lids are so interesting, shimmery green and very different and unique. It is paired with a feline eye liner that is very dark and fun but nothing for everyday for me.

Vicious Villains: Jafar

Hey guys,

Ok, Jafar was never a villain I enjoyed too much. He’s just a bit boring, to be fair. Still I loved the world of Aladdin and so this had to be on my list. Also I think this look is still fun. I took the dark taupish color he has around the eyes and added a fun dramatic eyeliner. This is a look I usually love most in January and February. :D

October Lookbook 2017

Hey guys,

well, we all have to wear clothes. Sometimes we even put effort in it. Especially around September and October I actually enjoy dressing up, looking a bit more fancy and have some fun with my look. So here's a couple of outfits of October, which one is your favorite?

Makeup To-Go: Arabesque Berry Style Look

Hey guys,

So I was looking up some of the current visual by different brands for their fall and winter 2017 collections. This one definitely stood out to me because it’s very different and special but still quite wearable, I think. The metallic purple lips are super in trend right now. But I also have been loving this purple eyeshadow.

Vicious Villains: Hades

Hey guys,

This look is probably going to be my favorite of this series. I love experimenting with crazy lip colors. So this definitely made me happy. Also Hades is such a fantastic villain. He is witty and he has quite some bad luck. Also his minions are pretty stupid. It’s not his fault. So I took inspiration from his blue flames and black apparel and overall his grey look.

Used up! October 2017

Hey guys,

It's time for some beauty trash. I haven't done a Used up! video in a while and by now my closet is full of trash. So this is just a way to get started and there'll be more of these videos before the year is over, I promise. This video has a lot of Heymontain products because I love their stuff. But there's also other random things...

Makeup To-Go: Julianne Moore in Suburbicon

Hey guys,

You all know I love sharing movie inspired looks. Julianne Moore had two very similar looks in two different movies lately. One is Kingsman 2 and the other one is Suburbicon. So I decided to use Suburbicon as an inspiration today. I love the Barbie-sque touch with the blond hair and the soft pink tones on her eyes and lips.

Vicious Villains: Lady Tremaine

Hey guys,

Sometimes wanting the best for your family still is evil. Lady Tremaine definitely had mostly the best for her daughters in mind - still she basically enslaved Cinderella. So we hate her and it feels good. She is a very sophisticated and elegant villain and so is her makeup look. The burgundy eyes and berry lips are perfect for this season.

Vicious Villains: Mother Gothel

Hey guys,

Another perfect fall look rocked by a Disney villain. Today we’re talking about Mother Gothel. I have never seen Tangled but her look is super appropriate for the season. So this had to be on my list. The golden-orange eyes and berry lip go perfectly with her glamorous burgundy dress. So let’s get recreating!

Fall (Yankee) Candle Haul

Hey guys,

Have you heard of my obsession with scented candles? We're actually at this point now that I have secret and hidden scented candle stocks in our apartment. My boyfriend always frowns on me when I order more. But this haul I just couldn't prevent. There were some great deals going on and I needed some gifts... So yeah, excuses. Have fun watching!

Vicious Villains: Cruella De Vil

Hey guys,

Can you get more evil then a woman who is willing to kill puppies for a coat? I don’t think so. Cruella De Vil has nothing good to speak for her. She’s just despicable. Her look is also very distinct with the green eyeshadow, quite round shaped, and then the red lips with it. Well, she would probably wear Estee Lauder and Chanel, I am going for cheaper alternatives…

Vicious Villains: Ursula

Hey guys,

For our new series we wanna look deep into the eyes of evil - and duplicate some famous Disney villain’s looks. Today we’re starting off with my personal favorite: Ursula. She is the sea witch that steals Arielle’s voice in the Little Mermaid. Her skin has a purple color, her eyelids are tinted blue and her lips are painted red. So let’s do this… just more wearable.

September Lookbook

Hey guys,

Today I wanted to share some more autumnal outfits with you. I know I am still quite far behind but I promise I'll catch up. It's just hard to find time for blogging. So here you go.

Makeup To-Go: What happened to Monday?

Hey guys,

Here’s another movie makeup look. I haven’t seen this movie and I probably won’t watch it because it doesn’t seem that interesting to me. The main character looks great though. I loved her makeup a lot. The red lips just made my heart so happy. I don’t know why I am so obsessed with red lips right now.

Literary Looks: Nastya Kashnikov

Hey guys,

This book definitely stole my heart this year. I enjoyed the romance plot so much, and usually I don’t care about romance in books at all. So Nastya is trying to push things away. She wants to be on her own and she uses makeup and clothing to do that. She dresses quite slutty and her makeup is dark and dangerous. Also she doesn’t give a shit.

Read & Watched in September & October

Hey guys,

Today I wanna share some more books, movies and TV shows with you. While talking about some amazing novels I've read during my vacation, I also wanna share the books I was planning on reading in October. So this video was recorded a while back and if you go to my channel, you'll actually find my reading vlogs. I will not do a seperate post about those, but I'll like them down below and share the books I actually read in October as well.

Makeup To-Go: Emmy Rossum (@ the Emmys 2017)

Hey guys,

How gorgeous can smoky eyes be? When I saw the pictures of Emmy Rossum at the Emmys, I was immediately pulled in. She looked so flawless and gorgeous. I wanted to try to recreate this smoky look. Keep in mind that I have hooded eyes, so it looks a bit different. Here’s her look, if you wanna check it out by yourself.

Literary Looks: Sam in Perks of Being a Wallflower

Hey guys,

So let’s talk about one of my absolute favorite books. It’s Perks of Being a Wallflower. I definitely wanna reread this book this year, probably within the month. Sam is a very interesting character. She has a dark past but she’s trying to overcome it. Also she is very fashionable and fun and I love the Rocky Horror Show element. This is not inspired by the movie, by the way.

My Halloween Costume 2017! Mrs Lovett (Sweeney Todd)

Hey guys,

I hope you had a wonderful Halloween. Today I wanna show you my costume and my makeup look that I wore for this special night. We had an early Halloween dinner actually, because I was working during Halloween. I decided that I wanted to match my costume to the meal so we had some meat pies inspired by the movie Sweeney Todd. I dressed up as Mrs Lovett, obviously.
