just in case you missed my video, I wanted to share a bit of information with you. I don't wanna type too much, so please just watch the video. In the end I share quite a bit of Christmas decoration with you.
I told you I won the Urban Decay (UD) Naked
Smoky palette. I was really excited because I have never tried a Naked palette
before. It’s honestly nothing I would have ever bought myself. I am more for
the fun exciting colorful palettes. Still I was so so so excited to try out
this new palette and play with some of the shades.
yes, I am the biggest winner. Within a short period of time I won two amazing give-aways. First there was a cute package by my fellow German blogger Connü. She sent me some real nice stuff before. This time she got me a beautiful lipstick and a great eyeshadow. She didn't like the colors but I love them.
We are slowly but surely proceeding in the
Luhrmann Looks series and I still love it a lot. Today’s look is inspired by
Fran (Tara Morice) in Strictly Ballroom. Other than Liz and the other women in this movie,
Fran’s look is very simple and natural. In the final dance scene she has a bit
of red lipstick on but throughout the movie she’s supposed to stand out with
her personality and not her looks. I really liked that. So here we go. :D
yes, I have another Dressday post. So proud. And I honetly love this outfit to pieces. The dress is definitiely one of my alltime favorite clothing items. I love the shape it gives. Also I never thought that brown would look good on me but I acually love it. But the cut is just what is so special about this dress. Finally it's just super soft and cozy. What else could you possibly want?
Today I wanna share with you a little TAG video. I love to do these every once in a while and I always feel honored if my lovely friends think of me and tag me. :) So this time I was tagged by Mika which is one of my oldest Youtube friends. She wanted me to do this very random but fun tag. Hope you enjoy it!
Another job interview and I wanted to get ready
with you all. It helps me so much to be able to share this with you. I decided
to go a bit heavier on the eyes because it is fall now and I guess it’s
appropriate. With my hooded eyes it still doesn’t look too dramatic and I felt
very confident. I used mainly the Sleek Sunset palette for the eyes. It’s such
a great palette for autumn. :)
Today’s look is inspired by the beautiful Nicole
Kidman again. She plays not only the lead role in Australia but also in Moulin
Rouge, which is one of the first romantic movies I ever watched and enjoyed.
Her part is so versatile and fun, her voice is amazing, I love her. So her look
is something I love to wear because it’s simple but impressive - especially for
hooded eyes. So what do you think?
Another week, another dressday. Kind of. :D Well, you know. Let's get started. I don't even remember where we went but I wore this outfit for some kind of party or occasion. The dress I got from my lovely American friend Cassie. She absolutely knows my style. I love the black and white detail.
Today I wanna show you the books I read for my #Scaralong. In October I decided to read some Horror classics and creepy books. I really enjoyed reading with friends. I read Frankenstein with my friend Caro and it was so much fun. I hope we can do something similar again next year.
Today’s look is inspired by the Chanel Blue
Rhythm campaign. They have different pictures, but this one absolutely blew me
away. I knew I had to film this video asap. And so I did. I am really happy
with the result. It’s unique and special and still wearable. What do you think,
would you ever wear that? I actually went grocery shopping like that and
surprisingly no one was staring at me. :D
This look is inspired by Jordan Baker who is
portrayed by the beautiful Elizabeth Debicki in The Great Gatsby. I love the
movie, I love her amazing round eyes and her fabulous hair cut. So here we go.
This look is inspired by her party look and the ad visuals for the film. I
really like how it came out. It definitely has that modern 20s vibe again. My
eyes aren’t made for the 20s eyeshadow shape. Still I enjoyed trying this for
Today I wanted to share with you my Halloween costume. I decided to do a doll this year. I am not happy with the makeup, I have to be honest. I had a migrane that day, so here's the excuse. Also this was quite spontaneous and we were out the whole day. Aaaaand I put a cat hair in my eye with the first contact lense, which pretty much killed my eyes... Yeah, dumb excuses. Just wasn't feeling it that day.
Again a month has passed and I wanna show you a few outfits I wore. Obviously there weren't too many dressday posts last month. I have actually taken some pictures but always forget to upload them. Great job. xD Sry for that. But here you go: clothes.
Red eyeshadow can be a bitch to pull off, but in
this video and with this look I wanna show you easy steps how to make red
wearable on your eyes. This is loosely inspired by the visual of the Charlotte
Tilbury Vintage Vamp collection. I think the picture is just gorgeous and I
wanted to try something similar for you. I think it’s totally wearable,
especially with hooded eyes.
Today I wanna share with you a look inspired by
the beautiful Nicole Kidman. She is one of my favorite actresses because she is
in a lot of my favorite movies, now including Australia. I didn’t expect to
love this movie so much, but it seriously touched and broke my heart all at
once. I would really recommend it.
Nicole Kidman as Lady Ashley is a rich girl from
England looking for her husband in Australia. As soon as she arrives he dies
after an attack. Now it’s up to her to sell or maintain the farm. So her look
changes dramatically from the pale and sophisticated British woman to the
do-it-yourself farm owner. I took inspiration mainly from the ball scene half
way through the movie. She’s rocking the no-makeup-makeup look and I love it.
