This is a one of the view bad girl looks in the
O.C. series. Kaitlin is Marissa’s little sister and she’s much more like her
Mom than Marissa is. She likes to cheat on people and use them for her
intrigues. But in the final season she finds someone who really likes her and
she changes a lot in my opinion. I really liked her character by then. I think
she’s really interesting and super pretty.
Today I wanted to share this very simple
neutral, but effective look that is great for work, school, weddings and other
events. I had a bad day and wanted to make me feel better so I shared a few
tips how I cheer myself up in the beginning. I really hope you do enjoy this.
I found this old mascara in my collection and since it's totally empty, I wanna share it with you. I bought this when I decided that it was time for me to try a mascara. I actually never wore mascara as a teenager. For some reason they never worked for me. Or I was just not lucky with my mascaras.
This one was a very very natural one. I liked it when I was younger since I didn't end up with super clumpy lashes. If they still sell this I would recommend it to younger girls (and boys) that just want a thin coat of black to make their lashes show up a little more. Still, if you like to wear a little bit more make-up, this won't do the job for you. It's not easy to build it up or anything. Also the smell is quite weird and I think I remember that it always smelled that way. But then again I really liked the brush on it...
All in all I know now that there are much better (and cheaper) mascaras out there, so I wouldn't repurchase this ever. Still it was kind of a nostalgic find for me. :)
Today’s look is of Kirsten Cohen. She’s the
mother of Seth so her make-up is a little more settle and great for mothers. It
looks effortless but still polished. I really love such looks for everyday
wear. I wish I will be a mother like Kirsten one day. She’s definitely one of
my favorite characters. :)
This is another look of my The O.C. series. This
time it’s a little different, because Taylor Townsend wears a much more classy
and mature look compared to Marissa and Summer. I think Taylor is a very
interesting character and I like how she changes throughout the last two
seasons. I hope you enjoy this!
I finally used this deodorant. I always get these things as a gift and I have to be honest with you: I hate these deodorants. I never buy women's deodorants myself because they never really work for me. If it gets a little bit hotter here I always go back to men's deodorants. This one also didn't do anything for me. I wouldn't say that I swet a lot but I still wanna be protected in the hot weather. This one couldn't do that. After only a few hours I smelled that it didn't help at all. That really frustrated me. I totally can't recommend this one. If you wanna use women's deodorants and have the same problem just try to use the little roller ones. These work fine for me. But I am really happy that I finally used this one up. But still I have another bottle in my closet. -.- Maybe it's better to use as a body mist. The smell is nice though. It's very fruity and summery.
I created this look with a few things my friend
Cassandra got me. It’s a little bit older but still cool. I really liked
wearing this look. I think it’s a nice summer twist on a smoky eye. Obviously
you could go much nuder on the lips because my version got quite dramatic. It’s
your choice. But let me know what you think about colorful smoky eyes. :D I
I just wanted to quickly mention a few products that unfortunately expired before I got to use them (up). So I will throw them out now.
The first one is Heymountains Vanilla Queen Body Cream. Unfortunately I did not even use it once. I am not a huge fan of body creams, I usually just use those for my hands. So I can't say anything about that other than that these products expire pretty fast because they are probably more natural than others.
Next is Heymountains Going to Ibiza Coldcream. I have to admit that I loved this till the last moment. The scent was fantastic, but I just didn't need it more often. During winter time I often mixed it with a lip balm to treat my lips. It's also great for dry spots and things like that. It really really helped my dry skin and I am a huge fan of these cold creams.
Last thing is my bebe Young Care Feuchtigkeitscreme for normal skin. I didn't like that too much. I don't know why but I felt like it made me break out more. Usually my skin is not that sensitive and I don't get spots very often. So I stopped using it and everything was fine again. I then sometimes used it on my neck since it didn't effect that area in a negative way. But now I will throw it out. Does that happen to you often? Do you clean your skincare area often to throw out stuff? I always feel very bad when I have to do it. :(
