This is such a gorgeous look inspired by Elle
Kemper. She wore something similar to the Golden Globes and you can see the original picture here. So I wanted to have an excuse to use more rose gold
eyeshadow and this look came in handy. ;) I personally think it is very pretty,
also the lips compliment the eyes very well. What do you think? It turned out
way better than I was expecting.
This upcoming series is dedicated to hooded
eyes. I always had this shape of eyes and I never understood why makeup looked
so different on me. I lot of the makeup trends look a bit weird when you have
hooded eyes, especially cut crease looks and super long lashes. But there’s a
lot of things that just look great with hooded eyes. That’s what I’d like to focus
on during this series.
This first look is a classic smokey eye using
taupe colors. I think any eyeshape looks great with this kind of makeup look.
So I would suggest you just try it and see yourself. The most important thing
with hooded eyes is to start dark at the lash line and fade out as you go up.
Don’t try to emphasize the crease because usually that doesn’t look so great.
I decided that my collection was way to big and unorganized, so I went through all of my makeup products and selected the ones that I haven't really used and that are duplicates. I wanted to share those with you and maybe inspire you to clean out your stuff as well. :)
First of all: I am so sorry for my hair. I
pinned it back when my fringe was still wet and then it kept the shape pretty
much. xD I was so furious… Stupid hair. Other than that I wanted to recreate
the look that Mila Kunis wore in the movie Jupiter Ascending. I think she
looked gorgeous and even though the movie was pretty bad and cheesy I kinda
liked it. :D So I hope you enjoy this. It’s quite different but again a fun way
to wear read eyeshadow.
